I was listening to CNN as I went from room to room and they said there are protests throughout the US today because of cuts in education.
I saw a graph were the cost of tuition has tripled, in the US, in the last 10 years. Obviously this is a overall view, but still!

Class sized are out of hand and teachers are being laid off. Who would have figured that. About 4 years ago there was such a shortage of teachers in some states that they were recruiting overseas.
